Hi! Welcome to my website! My name is Elsa Howell and I am a singer and songwriter from Roanoke, Virginia. I grew up listening to old-time and bluegrass music, mostly my dad's band, the Black Twig Pickers. I have been singing since I can remember, but I studied ballads under Elizabeth Laprelle through the Virginia Folklife Program in 2023.
